Job Description
Our client is a global leader in catastrophe and data modeling, they turn complex data from natural disasters, terrorism, pandemics, and cyber-attacks into actionable risk insights. They're seeking a C++ Software Engineer to join their team.
As a C++ Software Engineer on the team you will help develop brand new complex cloud software, parallel processing, and distributed systems all in C++ and AWS. The ideal candidate is looking for growth opportunity, has good communication skills, and resides in the Greater Boston area!
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on C++.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++ (modern standards preferred, e.g., C++11/14/17). Familiarity with data modeling, algorithms, or numerical computation is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience handling complex datasets.
- Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Bonus: Knowledge of risk assessment, catastrophe modeling, or related fields.
