RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs daily activities in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Completes company-wide distribution of mail and packages with a high level of customer service
- Receives and inspects incoming raw materials used for production support with a high attention to detail
- Performs electronic transactions of inventory utilizing computer systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Completes order fulfillment, issuance, and delivery of warehouse products to internal Completes cycle counting warehouse inventory according to SOP to ensure accuracy
- Maintains warehouse conditions including cleanliness and organization of raw materials and equipment and identification of potential hazards
- Utilizes first in / first out (FIFO) methodology to minimize raw material expiration
- Works closely with Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments to ensure order fulfillment and proper receipt of purchase orders
- Works safely with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follows all safety procedures while operating power equipment including forklifts, power jacks, etc.
- Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices
- Performs duties to support key annual performance metrics for operations
- Participates in continuous improvement activities in team meetings and other formal and informal settings
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in material or equipment handling
- Data Entry
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Inventory Management
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Physical Requirement
- Move or lift equipment weighing 26-50 pounds
- Frequent (>75%) movement, standing or walking
- Occasional (<25%) low postures such as stooping, kneeling or crouching
- Work on or near heavy equipment and elevated warehoused items
- Potential exposure to hot, humid outside temperatures; possible work near
chemical hazards
