Job Description

About the Role

Rapid Response Monitoring is looking for an Unarmed Corporate Security Officer (Full-Time) to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Salary Range: $24 per hour
Required Schedule: Overnights, require weekends
Location: Onsite in Corona, CA

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality services to protect people and property
  • Maintain a security presence by regularly patrolling both inside and outside of the facility
  • Monitoring security cameras
  • Detect and report safety concerns and potential risks
  • Responds within minutes to reports of suspicious activity.
  • Responds promptly to emergency calls for assistance.
  • Escorting certain personnel to and from events


Required California State Training and Qualifications

  • 8 Hour Pre-assignment Training
  • 32 Hours On-The-Job Training
  • 8 Hour Annual In-Service Training


Basic Qualifications

  • High School Degree
  • Must possess a California Security Guard License
  • Must be licensed and registered with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)
  • Able to proactively identify problems, creatively develop and execute solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to relate to and interact with others in a friendly, professional manner
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Many of our positions require an extra level of screening to obtain Department of Defense security clearance

Physical Requirements

  • Moderate lifting 15-30 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects. Occasional heavy lifting of >50 pounds.
  • Be physically active, able to frequently sit, stand, or walk for observing patrols, for long periods, and comfortable climbing stairs and walking up inclines and uneven terrain.
  • Conduct frequent and random on-foot patrols of the building and campus perimeter.
  • Effectively demonstrates the ability to use proper techniques in controlling disorderly or combative visitors, personnel, or trespassers when necessary.
  • Working in extreme conditions, heat\sun, cold, wet, and temperature changes while fulfilling patrol duties.

  • Associate's degree
