Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for leading the installation of cabinets, trim, custom and solid surface products while supervising and training other Installation Technicians. Provides exceptional quality work and positive customer service. The Crew leader is ultimately responsible for all aspects of site installation.
Required education and experience:

Required education and experience:
- Minimum three-years' experience as an Installation Technician
- Ability to train, motivate and lead others
- Working knowledge of installation guidelines and AWI standards
- Must have a clean driving record
- Clean and neat appearance
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR Certification preferred, but not required
- Maintain/manage jobsite inventory/organization
- Ability to learn, navigate and successfully use construction software programs (i.e. PlanGrid, Site Manager, ProCore, etc.)
Essential functions:
- Provides Project Superintendent and Project Managers status updates on the project daily
- Interpret blueprints and shop drawings and identify conflicts prior to installation.
- Inspect and verify casework installation according to AWI quality control standards
- Installs cabinets, trim, custom and solid surface products in a timely manner with a focus on quality
- Always perform job safely including wearing appropriate PPE per OSHA guidelines and asking for help with lifting
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to enter and retrieve data from computer.
- Ability to operate modern office business machinery.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle for minimum travel.

- Ability to converse in calm and friendly manner.
- Ability to communicate on the phone.
