Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales performance in the Jacksonville and Savannah markets. The role includes developing sales strategies, managing relationships with key customers, leading a team of sales representatives, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and maintaining a strong knowledge base of SafeTouch products and services. The Sales Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct market analysis, and play a key role in brand promotion and growth within the assigned areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic action plans for business targets to support team sales growth.
  • Set individual sales targets for the team and guide them in achieving their goals.
  • Motivate and manage the sales team's performance to ensure high productivity. Monitor individual and team performance and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Increase market share by coaching the sales team on selling a broad range of SafeTouch electronic security products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Grow service agreement base by mentoring the sales team on renewing and expanding existing customer service agreements.
  • Lead and contribute to the technical development, pricing, and written narratives of comprehensive winning proposals.
  • Actively participate in and lead customer presentations and systems demonstrations using technical knowledge, sales skills, and business acumen to assist in driving opportunities that create growth.
  • Assist sales reps in best practices of establishing call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics; consistently apply time and territory management techniques.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals as established by the organization.
  • Demonstrate the application of consultative sales techniques in customer development situations to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to improve operational delivery using customer feedback and knowledge of emerging trends in the security industry.
  • Work with Field Operations teams to ensure the proper application of system products to meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct market research on the upcoming technologies expected to impact the assigned regional markets.
  • Use SafeTouch policies and procedures in all project preparation and implementation.
  • Maintain quality assurance by following organizational standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and internal and external business partners.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales representatives within the assigned area.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales activities.
  • Monitor budget and expenses related to sales activities and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of sales and account management experience in electronic security integration or related industry
  • Minimum of 2 years in a sales leadership role
  • Strong computer applications skills with MS Office. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and customer service-oriented
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Pass drug screening and background requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements
  • Proof of personal vehicle insurance to include automobile liability and property damage coverage
  • Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

  • Work both inside and outside.
  • Remain stationary at a desk, standing, and moving from place to place for prolonged periods.
  • Move equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information.
  • Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials and interact with others.
  • Clearly hear conversations in person and over the phone.
  • Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations and interpersonal interactions.
  • Drive to work, client sites, and as business needs require.
  • Traverse uneven or slippery surfaces or both.
  • Safely ascend and descend stairs as needed.
  • Bend, crouch, and reach to take counts and measurements.

Location: Jacksonville, FL and Savannah, GA

Travel: 30 – 50%

Reports to: CSO

Job Type: Full-time

Salary range: $75-85k plus incentives and bonuses
