Job Title : Splunk Developer. Work Location & Reporting Address : Only Bangalore Location profiles (also, if other Location candidate should be ready for Relocation to Bangalore). Experience : 6years. Skill Set : Splunk development, Splunk admin and Python and Unix scripting. Job Description : Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy custom Splunk Apps and dashboards to meet specific business needs. - Write and optimize complex Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) queries to extract and analyze data from diverse sources. - Create and maintain data models for efficient data ingestion, indexing, and normalization. - Develop data transformation and enrichment processes to enhance data quality and usability. - Automate data ingestion and analysis workflows using Python and Unix scripting. - Configure and maintain Splunk infrastructure for optimal performance and security. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data analysis needs and translate them into effective Splunk solutions. - Develop and implement data-driven alerts and reports to proactively identify issues and opportunities. - Stay up-to-date on the latest Splunk features and best practices. Qualifications : - 6 years of experience in Splunk development and administration. - Proven ability to design and implement scalable and secure Splunk solutions. - Strong understanding of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL). - Experience with data modeling concepts and normalization techniques. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Unix shell scripting. - Familiarity with data ingestion pipelines and data transformation tools (a plus). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Passion for data-driven decision making and continuous learning.
