Golang Developer - Data Structure & Algorithm

Title : Golang Developer. Location : Bangalore (Need to work from WalmartBangalore office at least 2 days in a week from day one). Client : Walmart. Opportunity : Permanent/Full time with Caspex. Job Description : - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - 5 years of professional backend experience; you will mostly be working on servers. - Proficiency with Go, C++, Java or another server-side programming language. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Communicating with engineers is a part of the job. - Willing to dive into unfamiliar things. - Sometimes bugs or features require us to dig into TCP/IP, the DNS spec, Walmart's logging infrastructure, Linux system administration, and more. - Experience with running infrastructure solutions across private and public cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS). We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, proficiency in server-side programming, and the ability to work across private and public cloud environments. You will be instrumental in building scalable and reliable solutions while solving complex problems across different systems. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Go (Golang) and other relevant technologies. - Work on scalable, high-performance, and secure backend systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including debugging applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability. - Dive into challenging areas like TCP/IP protocols, DNS specifications, and Linux system administration when needed. - Build and manage solutions across private and public cloud environments, including Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and performance. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. - Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving overall team quality. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team. - Tackle unfamiliar challenges and be proactive in exploring new tools and systems. Key Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5 years of professional experience in backend development. - Proficiency in Golang, with experience in C++, Java, or other server-side programming languages. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Strong understanding of server-side architecture and microservices. - Solid grasp of networking concepts and protocols like TCP/IP and DNS. - Familiarity with logging infrastructure and Linux system administration. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. - A proactive attitude and willingness to dive into unfamiliar domains to resolve issues or develop new features. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). - Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
