Technical Lead - DevOps

Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including creating jobs, managing secrets, and ensuring efficient code delivery. - Utilize Git for code versioning, branching strategies, push/pull operations, and collaboration with developers. - Build, package, and deploy containerized applications for efficient resource utilization and portability. - Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications at scale. - Leverage Helm to manage Kubernetes deployments efficiently. - Work with a variety of AWS services to build, secure, and scale our e-commerce infrastructure. This includes compute, storage, logging, autoscaling, AMI management, ACMs/Secret Manager, and load balancers. - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS services for automated deployments and continuous delivery. - Implement DevOps principles to bridge the gap between development and operations, promoting collaboration and rapid application delivery. Must-Have Skills : - Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of e-commerce domain. - Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred) and experience in managing pipelines, jobs, and secrets. - Proficient in Git for version control, branching strategies, and collaboration workflows. - Experience with containerization using Docker for building and deploying applications. - Understanding of container orchestration principles and familiarity with Kubernetes. - Practical knowledge of AWS services for cloud infrastructure management. - Experience with CI/CD concepts in AWS. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Experience with Linux administration and scripting. - In-depth knowledge of additional AWS PaaS services for compute, storage, logging, autoscaling, AMI concepts, ACMs/Secret Manager, and load balancers. - Advanced Jenkins administration activities. - Experience with Git administrative tasks. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, Newrelic, Prometheus, and Grafana. Bonus Points : - Experience with CI/CD tools other than Jenkins (e.g. GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. - A passion for e-commerce and understanding of industry best practices.
