Senior Automation Testing Engineer - Selenium

About the Job : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Testing Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our web applications by developing and executing automated test scripts. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. - Conduct comprehensive functional and non-functional testing of web applications. - Write clear, concise, and well-documented test cases using advanced design techniques. - Leverage SQL to perform database testing. - Utilize JIRA or Bugzilla for effective defect tracking and management. - Possess experience with API testing, ideally with knowledge of Rest Client (a plus). - Create detailed functional documentation for assigned projects. - Analyze and identify root causes of software defects, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reporting. - Collaborate effectively with developers and other testers to resolve issues and improve software quality. Required Technical Skills : - Extensive experience in web application testing with a strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automating web browser interactions. - Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing. - Familiarity with JIRA or Bugzilla for defect tracking. - Experience with API testing (a plus).
