Statistics : - Over 1,000 customers across 150 countries globally - 99% customer satisfaction with exceptional support - The fastest-growing provider of DCAP solutions in the market Main Roles and Responsibilities : - Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and other stakeholders to understand the short and long-term product roadmap, overseeing daily planning and implementation of projects. - Translate product concepts into actionable formats that developers can follow, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met. - Lead the development team through the design, planning, development, coding, testing, and debugging phases of application creation. - Oversee the development team in setting entry and exit criteria for research and development efforts. - Validate Proof of Concept and provide leadership throughout the validation process. - Implement strategies that help teams deliver code faster, safer, and more reliably. - Make value-adding decisions regarding UI/workflows, code, and QA practices. - Prioritize bug fixes and internal suggestions/feedback for efficient development. - Work with the Head of Delivery Operations to set individual team goals for timely project delivery. - Guide the team in adhering to coding standards and ensuring compliance. - Ensure best practices and software development methodologies are followed. - Collaborate with the Head of Delivery Operations to conduct performance evaluations and career development discussions. - Identify and address training and skill development needs for the team. - Assist in the rapid development and scaling of the team as part of an ambitious growth strategy. Experience and Skills Required : - Proven experience in managing and growing a development team of 10 or more members, ideally within a startup environment. - Demonstrated ability in leading, coaching, and mentoring developers. - Strong focus on code quality and security practices. - A creative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail. - Previous experience as a developer with a deep understanding of coding logic and design. - Familiarity with SaaS and SaaS architecture. - Prior experience with a security vendor (preferred). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Accountability for product UI and code. - Experience in building briefs, planning, and developing high-level architecture. - Process-driven with confidence in making decisions and raising necessary objections. - Capable of inheriting and managing an established production team. - Proficient in Scrum and agile methodologies. - Solid understanding of core technologies, including C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, RESTful APIs (any framework), .NET Core, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web API, and SQL. - Strong interpersonal skills to communicate efficiently across departments. - Team player, able to work well under pressure. - Experience working with UK/US-based companies (ref:hirist.tech)
