Mobile Development Specialist - IoT

Job Title : Mobile Development Specialist (IoT) Company : SKV Hiringmate Location : Pune Job Summary : SKV Hiringmate is seeking a Mobile Development Specialist with extensive experience in IoT and smart product ecosystems. As a Mobile Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving successful launches of IoT-enabled smart products. You will create a holistic architecture for mobile applications that support connected electronic devices by working closely with hardware/firmware teams and cloud/infrastructure teams. This role requires deep technical expertise in IoT app development, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of mobile solutions for connected electronics. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop mobile applications to support IoT-enabled electronics products. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware (electronic/firmware) and cloud/infrastructure teams, to ensure a cohesive solution architecture. - Lead the integration of various communication protocols such as WiFi, BLE, MQTT, and TCP/IP into mobile applications. - Oversee and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion. - Provide leadership in mobile development processes, utilizing expertise in object-oriented programming and embedded software development. - Ensure compliance with OSEK standards and leverage model-based software development (Matlab/Simulink/Real-Time Workshop). - Participate in PCB design reviews and ensure CE/UL certification compliance for connected electronics. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring team development and efficient project execution. Qualifications and Experience : Education : Btech/ Mtech Computer Science, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum 15 years of experience in IoT application development, holding roles in project management, technical architecture, or integration. - At least 8 years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams. - Proficiency in C or C++ and experience working with OSEK-compliant operating systems. - Expertise in the use of various software development processes such as Agile, along with experience in version control systems. - Strong understanding of PCB design and certification standards (CE/UL) for electrical appliances. - Hands-on experience in working with communication protocols (e.g. , WiFi, BLE, MQTT, TCP/IP). Skills : - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. - In-depth knowledge of embedded software and model-based development using tools like Matlab/Simulink. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
