Job Description

The Compliance Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the agency is in accordance to regulations, according to agency policy and any other regulatory requirements. Experience working in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities would be very helpful in understanding the requirements and rules to develop appropriate training, policies, and conduct in home audits and oversee compliance standards.
Essential Functions:
The Compliance Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the agency is in accordance to regulations, according to agency policy and any other regulatory requirements. Experience working in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities would be very helpful in understanding the requirements and rules to develop appropriate training, policies, and conduct in home audits and oversee compliance standards.
Essential Functions:
- Review new and updated DODD rules and communicate changes to respective departments to ensure policies and practices are properly implemented, updated, and changed.
- Establish and maintain compliance procedures as well as develop and implement organizational strategies to ensure the company complies with all company, state and federal regulations.
- Audit and maintain compliance records across the organization to ensure company is meeting quality assurance standards. This includes traveling to a variety of sites to conduct quality assurance reviews.
- Minimizes risks by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing regulations, recommending new procedures, and complying with legal requirements.
- Participate in Licensure Reviews as needed. Provide documents for reviews to validate compliance. Work with departments to ensure corrective measures are put in to place.
- Audit training compliance to ensure only eligible employees are working. Ensure that all trainers are up to date on all certification for the trainings they are responsible for conducting, in accordance to CRSI, State and County requirements.
- Will continually assess, research and develop training curriculums as needed to meet rules, regulations, policies and procedures that are implemented or adapted by CRSI.
- Work with all levels of the organization to create and implement professional development for Programming and Administration. Meet with staff and managers to ascertain training and development needs.
- Manage Respiratory Fit Program.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in related areas such as Education, Social Work, or Business Management is preferred.
- Related experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidential information is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in keeping up with ever changing federal, state and local laws to ensure company compliance and successfully update training needs is critical.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
- Having the ability to navigate and understand OSHA regulations would also be incredibly important in this role.
- Someone who is a CPR/FA Instructor and works closely with the American Red Cross is preferred. This role will need to be an instructor, train the trainers, purchase supplies for all regions, etc.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary
- Training experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work directly with vendors of LMS, CPR/FA, Occupational Health, etc
- Ability to travel throughout Ohio (can use company vehicle)
