Bookkeeper/Office Manager Part-Time (32 hrs/week) – Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm

PERFORMANCE TEXTILES is a full-service supplier to the marine canvas industry. They have built their reputation on bringing innovative products to market and personal service to the industry. Locally owned since 1991, PERFORMANCE TEXTILES is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to support daily operations in a fast-paced commercial warehouse.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in office bookkeeping and administration, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. In this role, they will collaborate closely with the accountant to manage financial records, oversee month-end closing processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial documentation.
Bookkeeper key responsibilities:
Accounts payable including processing invoices, verifying purchase orders for PO driven invoices, reconciling discrepancies, preparing payments. Accounts Receivable including processing invoices, recording payments, reconciling discrepancies and making bank deposits.
Office Manager key responsibilities:
Manage email correspondence and phone inquiries
Coordinate and update office calendar
Organize and maintain filing systems
Monitor and replenish office supplies
Skills Required:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas and data
management
Excellent organizational, multitasking and communications skills
Proficiency in accounting/inventory software preferred
