Idexcel Technologies - Senior Database Developer - MySQL/PostgreSQL

We are looking for Senior database developer for the Database team. Role & Responsibilities : We are looking for a passionate hands-on DB Developer who is willing to spend most of the time in code and delivering quality code by working closely with development leads and architecture teams in understanding and designing the solution. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively in a global setting and should be a go to person for troubleshooting any issues that may arise. - Should have minimum of 5 years of experience as a DB Developer. - Minimum 4 Years hands on development experience in Mysql/Postgresql. - Hands on experience in writing Store Procedures, Triggers, scripts, etc - Good knowledge in Unix is must. - Good knowledge in any script language like Python etc. - Experienced in BI development and implementations, data architecture and data warehousing will be added advantage. - Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize, be flexible and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines in a multi-task environment - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, etc - Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. - Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication. - Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively - SQL Development ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Views, Triggers, Indexes, Constraints). - Strong Knowledge in any integration tool (Application and databases). - Should have Knowledge in database administration. - Should have knowledge in AWS.
