Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress websites and web applications using the Divi theme and page builder. Responsibilities : - Design and develop responsive, user-friendly websites using WordPress and the Divi theme/page builder - Customize the Divi theme and create custom layouts, modules, and templates - Integrate third-party plugins and APIs into WordPress sites - Ensure website performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility - Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements - Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress, Divi, and web development trends and best practices Requirements : - Proven experience with WordPress development, specifically using the Divi theme and page builder - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP - Familiarity with WordPress plugins, APIs, and integrations - Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities - Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, well-documented code Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) - Knowledge of WordPress security best practices - Familiarity with performance optimization techniques - Understanding of accessibility and web standards (WCAG, W3C) (ref:hirist.tech)
