API Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement Azure API Management solutions, including API gateways, policies, and security measures. - Develop and maintain API documentation and developer portals. - Integrate APIs with backend services and applications. - Monitor and optimize API performance and usage. - Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues. - Provide technical guidance and support to development teams. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API management and cloud computing. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong understanding of API management concepts, including API gateways, RESTful APIs, and microservices. - Experience with Azure API Management and other Azure cloud services. - Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Java, or Python. - Knowledge of API security best practices (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT). - Experience with API testing and documentation tools. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills and Experience : - Experience with API design and development frameworks (Swagger, OpenAPI). - Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Certification in Azure API Management or other relevant Azure certifications.
