Test Architect - Automation Testing

Job Description : Creospan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer/Architect to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a passionate software engineering and testing professional with over 10 years of experience in automation, system design, and architecture. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of complex, multi-tiered enterprise applications through innovative automation solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and design test automation strategies for complex software systems, driving efficiency and precision in testing. - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Lean FT, Selenium, Sikuli, TestNG. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs, multi-tiered system architectures, and various technologies including MQ, Kafka, Solace. - Utilize strong Core Java, SQL, and Oracle skills to design effective test cases and automate testing processes. - Manage test environments and data to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Provide technical troubleshooting and support, addressing and resolving critical issues. - Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes to enhance the quality and speed of delivery. - Communicate and collaborate effectively with business and technical partners. - Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. - Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to solve complex technical challenges. Must-Have Skills : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. - 10 years of software engineering and testing experience with a focus on automation. - Expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Lean FT, Selenium, Sikuli, TestNG. - Strong proficiency in Core Java, SQL, Oracle, and RESTful APIs. - Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, Kafka, Solace. - Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile practices. - Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. - Proven ability to design and test large, complex enterprise architectures. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency in test data and environment management. - Experience playing roles such as Test Automation Engineer and Architect. Good-to-Have Skills : - Familiarity with the Banking/Financial domain and trading lifecycle. - Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps tools. - Knowledge of cloud-based testing and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Hands-on experience with CA DevTest, Cucumber, and Azure. - Familiarity with various web technologies such as HTTPS, SFTP, HTML, JSP, XML, JSON, and CSS.
