L2 DLP Engineer - IT Security Strategy

Title : IT Security Data loss prevention (DLP) L2 Experience : 3-5 years Work Location : Period : Immediate to 30 Days Max only Job Description Position Summary : Provides overall engineering and operational support for the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platform. Guide and mentor L1 team members. Serves as a level 2 escalation point for the L1 team. Position Description : - Work with IT Teams to remediate server vulnerabilities related to security tooling. - Develop and maintain weekly and monthly metrics reporting around security tooling coverage, trends/baselines/anomalies related to security alerts in the environment. - Level 2 triage and troubleshooting of incident tickets submitted by end users. - Perform weekend validations and change work during established maintenance windows. - Maintain currency by planning and organizing enterprise-wide agent upgrades in the workstation, server and VDI environments both on-prem and in the cloud environments. - Create and maintain Runbooks for related processes. - Participate in DR exercises. - Gather and submit evidence for audit requests. Knowledge & Experience : - 4 years experience in related IT Security field, 2 years Proofpoint Data Loss Prevention experience - Change management experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience deploying and supporting tools in a large environment (on-prem and multi-cloud). - Strong written, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills across with the ability to communicate with non-technical end users as well as technical IT teams. Technical Expertise : - Python experience is a plus - Splunk experience is a plus - Experience with DLP tools such as Proofpoint Endpoint, Proofpoint eMail, Zscaler DLP, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Varonis.
