Data Architect/Modeler

Job Highlights : As a Data Architect / Modeler, you will partner closely with multiple Business partners, Product Owners, Data Strategy, Data Platform, Data Science and Machine Learning (MLOps) teams to drive innovative data products for end users. Additionally, you will help develop overall solution architecture & define models for data products, through best-in-class engineering practices. Working with different stakeholders, you will understand business needs and design/build data models which cater to acquisition, and ingestion processes and support critical reporting and insight requirements. Must-Have skills : - Min. 8 years of experience is required for this position. - 5 years of progressive experience in Data & Analytics initiatives, with knowledge of how data architecture -and modeling support data pipelines, data management, and analytics. - 3 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS) and cloud-based databases (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift). - 3 years of data architecture & modeling experience in Consumer/Healthcare - Goods companies, with a solid understanding of business domains within the industry. - Highly proficient in SQL, Erwin/ER Studio, and data modeling Expertise in designing and developing performance-tuned, reusable, and scalable data model standards and data dictionaries. - Hands-on experience with data catalogs like Alation, Collibra, or similar. - 3 years of experience working with Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) in the DevSecOps model. - Superb interpersonal & communication skills, including the ability to translate between business and technical concepts. - Ability to design data models to address complex data challenges, including granularity, data gaps, matching logic, and structured/unstructured data harmonization. - Proven track record of handling high-profile projects with demanding deadlines and changing requirements, and the ability to estimate effort and prioritize tasks. Qualifications : - Undergraduate degree in Technology, Computer Science, applied data sciences or other related fields; advanced degree in related fields preferred. - Knowledge of NoSQL and graph DB databases and modeling approaches is a plus. - Demonstrated strength in examining issues, driving resolutions, and challenging the status quo in technology and architecture. - Proven experience in working across the organization, influencing effectively, and engaging with stakeholders. - Experience in thriving in a diverse company culture and a commitment t inclusion as part of an equal-opportunity employer. Roles & Responsibilities : - Provide expertise on data architecture and modeling in partnership with engineering and platform teams to build next-generation product capabilities that drive business growth. - Focus on execution & delivery of highly reliable, high-quality data products aimed at maximizing business value. - Be an integral part of the data platforms & products team, building and improving next-generation data & analytics capabilities within the DevSecOps framework. - Work closely with the Business Analytics leaders to understand the needs of the business, translating the business needs into optimal architecture designs. - Design data architecture, scalable & reusable models for various functional areas of data products adhering to "FAIR" principles. - Collaborate with data engineers, solution architects and other stakeholders on the data model, maintenance and optimization. - Forge trusted partnerships and be an integral part of Data Engineering, Platforms and Data Science teams to architect business-relevant data models. - Create and maintain Metadata Rules, Data Dictionaries and associated lineage details of the data models.
