Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to join our team for a short-term contract role focused on enhancing the quality of both mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in automated testing processes, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven ability to create and execute comprehensive test scripts. Job Title : Automated Test Engineer (Mobile and Web : 2-3 Years Location : Remote / On-site (as required) Role Description : Required Skills & Experience : - Design and implement automated test scripts for mobile and web applications. - Develop, manage, and execute test plans aligned with project specifications. - Track, report, and manage defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues. - Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure application reliability. - Ensure compatibility of automated test scripts across devices, browsers, and OS versions. Qualifications : - 2 to 3 years of experience in automated testing for both mobile and web applications. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java. Preferred Qualifications : - Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. , Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Experience with cross-browser testing tools (e.g. , Browser Stack, Sauce Labs). - Understanding of RESTful API testing and experience with mobile testing on iOS and Android. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
