SQL Developer - DBMS

Key Responsibilities : Database Development : - Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support various business applications. - Optimize existing SQL queries for performance and efficiency. Data Management : - Manage database schema changes and ensure data integrity across systems. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Collaboration : - Work with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into database solutions. - Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and review meetings. Reporting : - Assist in the development of reports and dashboards that provide insights into business performance. - Ensure timely delivery of data for reporting purposes. Documentation : - Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures. - Document SQL code and maintain version control for all database-related scripts. Required Skills : SQL Proficiency : - Strong experience with SQL Server, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize them for performance. - Familiarity with stored procedures, triggers, and views. Database Concepts : - Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling principles. Data Analysis: - Ability to analyze data and provide insights that support business decisions. Tools and Technologies : - Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or similar database management tools. - Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (SSIS, etc.) is a plus.
