Development Engineer

• Contract: 9 Months

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 3 employees, overseeing the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones.
• Innovate system architecture and system concepts.
• Manage requirements and their definitions.
• Create 3D CAD models, perform FEM simulations, and review drawings.
• Collaborate closely with product management.
• Facilitate design transfers to production.
• Provide technical support to customer service.
• Prepare and document technical tests.

Key Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in mechanical design using 3D CAD tools and drawing creation.
• Experience in defining system architecture and technical requirements.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, including electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.

Qualifications:

• University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Alternatively, 3-5 years of professional experience as a development or system engineer.
• Advanced experience with 3D CAD tools (preferably AUTODESK Inventor).
• Experience in project management or project conception.
• Proficiency in system development and requirements engineering.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Residency in Germany or willingness to relocate to the greater Hamburg area.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AUTODESK Inventor.
• Experience with FEM simulation.
• Experience in leading projects.
