Staff Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Our tech-stack : - Ruby on Rails - React - AWS - TypeScript - Node Js Key Responsibilities : - Design, code, review, and test assigned features and user stories - Collaborate with the product owners - Cooperate with team members to improve team processes and technical solutions - Assist of high quality operational and system documentation - Communicate effectively with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of the software to production Required Experience/Skills : - 6 year's hands-on experience in development with Ruby on Rails - Commitment to producing well tested and documented code - Understanding of CI/CD concepts - Familiarity with Git, GitHub - Experience with Agile/SCRUM/Lean software development - Successfully manage own workload and take personal responsibility and ownership for delivery, behaviors, and self-improvement Preferred Experience/Skills : - Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and Helm charts - Experience with event-base architectures and messaging patterns - Experience with AWS or with other cloud systems - Keen to learn more about new languages and frameworks - Willingness to extend their knowledge in Full-Stack direction - Experience with Microservices architecture (ref:hirist.tech)
