Job Title : Pega Administrator Location : HYDERABAD , MUMBAI, BANGALORE Job Type : Full-Time Date : 18.10.24 Virtual Interview Key Responsibilities : Pega PRPC Administration : Manage and maintain Pega PRPC environments, ensuring smooth operation, availability, and performance across different systems and versions. System Performance Monitoring : Utilize performance monitoring tools such as Pega PAL, Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (AES), and PMI to track, report, and optimize platform performance. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Analyze and resolve system issues, troubleshoot application, server, and JVM-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime. Source Control Management : Oversee and manage source control processes and tools for version management and deployment. Ensure smooth transitions during updates and deployments. Web Application Administration : Configure and manage web application environments using servers like WebSphere, JBOSS, and Tomcat, ensuring high performance and scalability. Database Administration : Work with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring database performance, maintenance, and integration with Pega environments. Required Skills : Pega PRPC : 5 years of experience in Pega PRPC administration, including handling multiple environments and versions. Performance Monitoring : Experience with monitoring tools such as Pega PAL, AES, PMI for tracking and optimizing platform performance. JVM : Strong experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Java Virtual Machine (JVM) environments. Web Application Servers : Proficiency in administering web servers like WebSphere, JBOSS, and Tomcat for web application deployment. Troubleshooting : Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in application and platform performance and stability issues. Database Knowledge : Experience with PostgreSQL databases, including basic administration and performance tuning. Desirable Skills : Source Control Management : 2 years of experience in managing source control systems, with expertise in deployment automation and version control. Scripting & Automation : Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) for task automation and platform maintenance. Collaboration : Ability to work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability and performance. (ref:hirist.tech)
