Network Security Engineer - Firewall/VPN

We are looking for a dedicated Network Security Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security protocols and practices, with a focus on protecting the organization's network and data from potential threats. Key Responsibilities : - Monitor and analyze network traffic for security incidents and vulnerabilities. - Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard the network. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential weaknesses. - Respond to and investigate security breaches and incidents, providing timely resolution. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security policies. - Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions. - Provide support for security tools and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions. - Prepare and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident reports. Required Skills : - Proven experience (3 years) in network security roles. - Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs. - Familiarity with security monitoring tools and techniques. - Experience with incident response and vulnerability assessment. - Understanding of risk management and security compliance frameworks. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
