Machine Learning Engineer - Computer Vision

Job Description : A Machine Learning Engineer and Computer Vision Engineer is responsible for designing and developing systems that learn from data and improve over time without being explicitly programmed. This role involves building, training, and deploying machine learning models that provide actionable insights or enable automation of tasks. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms. - Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights. - Develop scalable machine learning pipelines and infrastructure. - Experiment with different models and tuning hyperparameters for optimal performance. - Implement feature engineering techniques and optimize data for training models. - Work with data engineers and data scientists to ensure smooth data flow. - Write and maintain production-level code for model deployment. - Collaborate with other teams (software engineers, product managers, etc.) to integrate models into products. - Keep up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and AI. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of models in production, and continuously improve them. Required Skills : - Computer Vision Expert - Read research papers - Geeky - Creates models from scratch - 2-8 years of experience in this field - CV person (should be an expert into it). - Ideal : Geospatial folks are a huge plus. - Worked on 3D datasets/assets is a plus - 3D data analytics modelling or exotic datasets is a plus. - Eg : LIDAR datasets, temp & depth sensors etc. - A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with advanced degrees (Master's, Ph.D.) (ref:hirist.tech)
