Senior Software Engineer - Java/J2EE Programming

Job Responsibilities : - Be a part of a team developing a rapidly growing product used by thousands of small businesses. - Work with a global cross-functional engineering team on developing new services, tools to enable core Enterprise capabilities. - Take part of full software development lifecycle including planning, development, building test, deployment & support of microservices and UI. - Responsible for building large scale applications that are high performance, scalable and resilient in a microservices environment. - Experience in building data models and backend applications for large-scale, real-time data flow applications. - Evaluate new technologies and tools such as new frameworks, methodologies, best practices and other areas that will improve overall efficiencies and product quality. Skill Set : - 5 years of working experience in developing API centric core Java/J2EE applications using Spring boot, JPA, REST API, XML, and JSON. - Well versed in Object Oriented Design (OOD) using Java programming language and able to design complex solutions. - Demonstrable experience practicing TDD methodologies. - Working experience in any one of the Cloud Platforms - AWS1` (preferable). - Experience in large-scale databases SQL or NoSQL. - Hands-on experience in Eclipse/IntelliJ-based development and using Git, Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab, Junit. - Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. - Past experience in startups or product development is a big plus. - Ability to coordinate with various teams to deliver projects successfully. - Strong verbal & written skills required to interact with global teams.
