Data Architect - Data Modeling & Ingestion

About the Role : We are looking for an experienced Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP) Data Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable data solutions within Adobe's RTCDP. In this role, you will work closely with data engineering, marketing, and business teams to define data schemas, model customer data, and enable real-time, personalized customer experiences. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in data architecture, customer data platforms, and Adobe Experience Cloud : - Data Architecture & Modeling : Design and implement data architectures in Adobe RTCDP, creating schemas and data models that support a unified customer view and real-time engagement. - Customer Data Strategy : Develop strategies for managing customer identities, segmenting audiences, and integrating data from multiple sources to enable seamless, personalized customer experiences. - Data Integration & Ingestion : Lead the integration of various data sources (e.g., CRM, transactional, behavioral data) into RTCDP, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility. - Schema Management & XDM : Define Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas and manage data ingestion pipelines within Adobe RTCDP to support robust audience segmentation and activation. - Data Privacy & Compliance : Establish data governance standards to ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), enforcing data handling, storage, and access best practices. - Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor and optimize data flows within RTCDP, identifying and resolving performance issues to maintain optimal system performance. - Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with data engineering, IT, analytics, and marketing teams to understand data requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs. - Documentation & Training : Develop and maintain technical documentation for data architectures, data flows, and schema definitions. Provide training to internal teams on RTCDP best practices and data usage. Qualifications : Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience : - 6 years of experience in data architecture and data management, with a focus on customer data platforms (CDPs) or similar solutions. - Proven experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Experience Platform, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products. Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of Adobe RTCDP and Experience Data Model (XDM) schema design, data ingestion, and audience segmentation. - Proficiency with data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline management. - Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party data connectors for seamless integration. - Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and best practices for data governance. - Familiarity with SQL, Python, and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to data design. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects. Preferred Skills : - Adobe certifications in RTCDP or Adobe Experience Platform. - Experience with customer data strategies, including identity resolution and profile unification. - Background in digital marketing or customer experience management.
