Job description : Key Responsibilities : - Conduct comprehensive code reviews for software applications, focusing on readability, maintainability, and efficiency. - Identify and report any issues, bugs, or vulnerabilities found during code reviews, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement. - Collaborate closely with developers to ensure code changes are implemented correctly and meet project objectives. - Maintain documentation of code review findings, recommendations, and resolutions. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to software development and code review processes. - Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in software development, with a focus on code review or quality assurance for 3 years. - Strong understanding of programming languages (e.g. SQL Python, JavaScript etc.) and software development methodologies. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN) and code review tools (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and build positive working relationships. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
