Full Stack Software Developer

Position Summary : The Full Stack Software Developer perform diversified IT support services, product development under the team leads'/IT managers' direction with minimum assistance. Full Stack Software Developer can make decisions on routine jobs except for unusual issues and circumstances. When such a situation arises, outline them to the IT manager, Directors or Partners and then act on their advice. Performance appraisal : Three-six months probation review, and then a Half-yearly review based on the calendar year Key Accountabilities : Key Result Area : 1. Design and developing high quality software systems : Major Activities : a) Designing and developing high quality software systems b) Proposing technical and functional designs c) Perform coding, unit testing, integration, and regression testing d) Code Integration with third party systems via API calls e) Ensure that the work delivered is based on the defined standards f) Considering continuous improvement and introducing new technologies g) Develop technical specifications and architecture h) Support junior developers work i) Document development and operational procedures. j) Front-End Development : Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or any other frameworks k) Back-End Development : Design and implement robust server-side logic, database schemas, and APIs l) Database Management : Create, optimize, and manage database queries using SQL and NoSQL databases like MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or others as per the requirements m) Version Control : Use Git and GitHub/Bitbucket for version control Deployment : Facilitate deployment processes and ensure that applications are deployed correctly using CI/CD pipelines o) Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to projects General : a) Adhere to HR policies and procedures. b) Necessary steps should be taken to protect the firm's interest. c) Ensure minimum chargeability requirements. d) Ensure a minimum PMS score of 3.9 consistently for further progression Skills & Knowledge : Essential : - Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role - Experience developing desktop and mobile applications - Familiarity with common stacks - Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) - Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) - Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL,MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Great attention to detail - Organizational skills - An analytical mind - Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field Desirable : Knowledge of business processes, and fundamental front-end languages.
