We are looking Immediate joiner for a Senior role in ABAP on HANA. Experience : 8 years. Location : Bengaluru Onsite. Job Type : Full-time. Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced ABAP on HANA Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ABAP, HANA, and related SAP technologies, with a strong focus on optimizing performance and implementing best practices in ABAP development on the HANA platform. Key Responsibilities : - ABAP Development : Design, develop, and support ABAP programs, reports, function modules, data conversions, enhancements, and SAP forms using Adobe, Smart Forms, and SAPScripts. - SAP HANA Optimization : Optimize ABAP code to fully leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA, including performance tuning, CDS views, and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures). - Technical Specifications : Prepare detailed technical specifications based on functional requirements and actively participate in solution design. - Data Integration : Work with OData services, CDS Views, and integration with SAP Gateway to enable SAP Fiori and other UI5 applications. - Enhancements & Exits : Develop custom enhancements and use BADI, user exits, and enhancement points as required. - Testing & Debugging : Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure quality deliverables and work on resolving issues and support incidents. - Collaboration : Work closely with functional teams and clients to understand business processes and requirements, providing technical guidance and innovative solutions. - Documentation & Standards : Maintain thorough documentation of technical designs and follow SAP best practices and company standards for development. Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : 8 years in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on HANA. Technical Expertise : - Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA technologies, including CDS views, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting. - Proficient in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS ABAP). - Knowledge of Data Dictionary, Module Pool Programming, Reports, and Dialog Programming. - Strong experience with integration techniques like ALE, IDOCs, OData, and BAPIs. Tools & Methods : - Proficient in debugging and performance tuning on SAP HANA. - Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and S/4 HANA environment is a plus. - Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications : - SAP HANA or ABAP certification. - Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementations. - Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools in SAP environments, such as CTS or ChaRM.
