R&D Associate - IT Support Services

Strategic Direction Summary : Contributes to the organization by delivering high-quality service that clients see Buchprufer as their IT Services firm of choice. Position Summary : The R & D Assoicate perform diversified IT support services under the team lead / managers direction with minimum assistance. R & D Assoicate perform can make decisions on routine jobs except for unusual issues and circumstances. When such a situation arises, outline them to the IT manager, Directors or Partners and then act on their advice. Performance Appraisal : Three-six months probation review, and then a Half-yearly review based on the calendar year Key Accountabilities : 1. Key result area : a. Design and test product concepts and redesign existing products : Major activities : a) Develop concepts, products, and solutions by working with our in-house Development team. b) Ability to work in multiple development stacks as part of the POC Development c) Develop new products to meet customer needs through technical analysis, research, and/or demonstrations. d) Perform market research to determine what types of products might be successful among consumers, research product ideas to determine their viability, and research how existing products on the market are performing. e) Test and analyze improved technologies used by our partners, competitors, and customers. f) Analyze data from various sources such as test results and specifications. g) Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop solutions that improve performance or reduce costs. h) Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the company i) Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the software product development life cycle, including design, development, testing, go live, quality assurance, and support. j) Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals. k) Document all phases of research and development. General : a) Adhere to HR policies and procedures. b) Necessary steps should be taken to protect the firm's interest. c) Ensure minimum chargeability requirements. d) Ensure a minimum PMS score of 3.9 consistently for further progression Skills And Knowledge : Essential : a) Experience working on complex systems. b) Strong analytical skills including problem solving. c) Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both verbally and written d) Must be detail oriented. Desirable : Knowledge of research, design and test products Personal Attributes : Essential : a) Able to multitask. b) Strong organizational abilities c) Proven ability for managing multiple projects simultaneously. d) Self-starter who can manage time efficiently.
