Functional Consultant - Sage X3

Strategic Direction Summary : Contributes to the organization by delivering high-quality service that clients see Buchprufer as their IT Services firm of choice. Position Summary : The Sage X3 Functional Consultant perform diversified IT support services under the team lead/ manager direction with minimum assistance. Sage X3 Functional Consultant can make decisions on routine jobs except for unusual issues and circumstances. When such a situation arises, outline them to the IT manager, Directors or Partners and then act on their advice. Performance Appraisal : Three-six months probation review, and then a Half-yearly review based on the calendar year Key Accountabilities : Key result area : 1. Develop , implement , maintain SAGE X3 modules : - Major activities : a) Maintain the implemented functionality of SAGE X3 modules through end user support of technical problems, business-as-usual requests. b) Provide guideline & provision of knowledge of that functionality to the user c) Resolve minor and complex incidents and change service request through level support to deliver timely and quality solutions to end users. d) Develop and Coordinate SAGE X3 End-User Training for business processes. e) Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. f) Take an active part in quality improvement processes. g) Complete the assignment within the budegeted time General : a) Adhere to HR policies and procedures. b) Necessary steps should be taken to protect the firm's interest. c) Ensure minimum chargeability requirements. d) Ensure a minimum PMS score of 3.9 consistently for further progression Skills And Knowledge : Essential : a) Experience in customer support or consulting in SAGE X3 b) Proven track record in successful big to medium project implementations c) Business acumen and experience gained (ideally) in a service company environment in a relevant discipline Desirable : Knowledge of financial models, SAGE X3 modules. Personal Attributes : Essential : - Effective communication and leadership qualities - Ability to meet deadlines and support SLAs independently - Multi tasking Desirable : Positive, Proactive training And Development : - Essential : Graduate / Post gradutae in IT or related field. - Desirable : Certification in Sage X3 (ref:hirist.tech)
