Data Migration Engineer - Teamcenter

Role : Teamcenter Data Migration. Location : Pune. Notice Period : Immediate Joiner Only. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies and plans for Teamcenter PLM. - Assess the current data environment and identify potential challenges and risks associated with migration. - Analyze and map source data to target Teamcenter PLM structures. - Define and document data transformation rules to ensure data integrity and consistency during migration. - Lead the execution of data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Utilize migration tools and scripts to automate data migration tasks and improve efficiency. - Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data. - Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues during and after migration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, PLM developers, business analysts, and end-users, to gather requirements and ensure successful migration. - Provide regular updates and reports on migration progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders. - Monitor and support post-migration activities, addressing any issues that arise to ensure a smooth transition. - Provide training and documentation to end-users and support teams on new data structures and processes within Teamcenter PLM. Required Skills : - 3 -7 Years of Overall experience including 3-5 yrs in Data migration projects in PLM industry specific to Teamcenter. - Proficiency in data migration tools and technologies (e.g, ETL tools, SQL, scripting languages). - In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter PLM architecture, data models, and integration points. - Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques. - Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills. - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
