The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance roles and a proven track record of creating and executing automated tests for APIs. This role requires excellent analytical thinking, debugging skills, and a collaborative team spirit. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and create test plans. - Design, write, and execute automated test scripts for APIs using Java. - Perform manual API testing and automation using tools like POSTMAN. - Conduct ETL testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy. - Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. - Create, modify, and manage Jenkins jobs to automate testing workflows. - Develop and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, and test data. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery. - Use Atlassian tools such as JIRA and qTest for test management and defect tracking. - Analyze test results, identify issues, and communicate findings to the team. - Follow agile methodologies and participate in agile ceremonies. - Perform functional testing, requirement analysis, and derive API test scenarios. - Design and code complex test cases and frameworks to streamline test development and automation processes. Requirements : - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a QA role. - Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with API automation using Java. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in ETL testing. - Proficiency in programming languages, especially Java. - Strong knowledge of manual API testing and automation. - Experience with REST API testing using POSTMAN. - Good understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with Jenkins. - Hands-on experience creating, modifying, and running Jenkins jobs. - Familiarity with Atlassian tools like JIRA and qTest. - Excellent analytical thinking and debugging skills. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Excellent communication skills and proven analytical capabilities. - In-depth knowledge of software test life cycle activities and agile methodologies. - Strong command of functional testing, requirement analysis, and API test scenario derivation. - Ability to design and code complex test cases and frameworks for test development and automation. - Strong analytical and client communication skills.
