Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

Job Description : We are looking for a QA Manual Tester with 3-6 years of experience in software testing, particularly with PTC Windchill and related technologies. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners (POs), Business Analysts (BAs), and development teams to design and execute comprehensive test cases, ensuring that all business requirements are met. You will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and integration of key modules such as Parts Link, PDM Link, Supplier Management, and Change Management within the PTC Windchill platform. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with POs, BAs, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and functionality for user stories. - Develop test cases that ensure full test coverage of all functional, integration, and regression scenarios. - Execute manual tests across various modules within PTC Windchill, ensuring that the software meets the desired business and technical specifications. - Work with POs and BAs to review test cases and discuss functional specifications to validate user stories and their test coverage. - Execute test scripts written in Java Selenium and validate application behavior against expected results. - Test integration with CAD tools like Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor, ensuring smooth data exchange and accuracy in product designs and structures. - Validate interactions between PTC Windchill and ERP systems like SAP and Oracle, ensuring accurate flow of product data between systems. - Log and track defects using tools like JIRA and Xray. - Ensure all defects are well-documented with sufficient details for development teams to resolve issues quickly. - 3-6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of complex software applications, with a strong focus on functional and integration testing. - In-depth knowledge of PTC Windchill modules such as Parts Link, PDM Link, Supplier Management, Change Management, Configuration Management/BOM, and Project Collaboration. - Familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor for testing design and product data integration. - Understanding of ERP systems like SAP and Oracle and their integration with PTC Windchill. - Hands-on experience with JIRA for issue tracking, and Xray for test management and reporting. - Knowledge of Java and Selenium for creating and executing automated test scripts (preferred). - Skillful in logging, tracking, and reporting defects, with an ability to analyze root causes and collaborate on their resolution. - Solid understanding and experience in working within Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups. - Strong experience with manual test execution, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing (ref:hirist.tech)
