Technical Writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer with a strong understanding of design tools, particularly Figma, to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging documentation for our design and product teams, helping to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. In this role, you will write user guides, API documentation, design documentation, and other technical content while collaborating with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand. Key Responsibilities : - Create and maintain technical documentation : Write user guides, FAQs, design specifications, and API documentation related to product features and design processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of documentation. - Utilize Figma for design documentation : Leverage Figma to document design systems, user flows, and wireframes, making it easier for both design and development teams to access and understand design decisions. - Ensure clarity and consistency : Maintain a consistent style, tone, and formatting across all documentation, ensuring that all technical content is easy to follow for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Maintain version control : Ensure that documentation stays up to date as product updates and features evolve. Use version control tools like Git to track changes. - Conduct content reviews : Collaborate with technical teams to review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity before final publication. - Improve documentation processes : Identify areas of improvement in the documentation workflow and suggest solutions to streamline content creation and delivery. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with exposure to Figma or other design tools. - Proficiency in Figma : Experience in using Figma for design documentation, creating user flows, wireframes, and design systems. - Strong writing skills : Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, clear language. - Attention to detail : Strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and consistency in documentation. - Knowledge of documentation tools : Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Markdown, Git, or other version control platforms. - Understanding of design processes : Ability to understand design and product workflows, including the relationship between design and development teams. - Collaboration skills : Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required. Nice to Have : - Experience with other design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch). - Familiarity with agile methodologies and using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello). - Basic understanding of API documentation or software development concepts.
