Data Scientist - Python/R/Scala

Job Description : We are seeking a talented and driven Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems using advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into data science projects. - Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Build predictive models, perform forecasting, and analyze outcomes to provide actionable insights. - Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis. - Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and improve system performance. - Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate data findings effectively. - Continuously research and adopt cutting-edge tools, techniques, and technologies in data science. - Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and scalability. - Document processes, methodologies, and project outcomes. Skills and Qualifications : - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala. - Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying. - Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn). - Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Strong statistical and mathematical foundation. - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) or computer vision is a plus. - Exposure to time-series analysis and forecasting techniques. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
