Job Description

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : Cloud Infrastructure Management : - Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance. Automation and Configuration Management : - Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. - Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployment and configuration. CI/CD Pipeline Development : - Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Ensure seamless integration of automated testing and deployment processes. Monitoring and Logging : - Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch. - Ensure high availability and reliability of applications and services through proactive monitoring and incident management. Security and Compliance : - Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaboration and Support : - Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide the necessary infrastructure and tooling support. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience : - Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and automation. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Technical Skills : - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch (ref:hirist.tech)
