Qween Network - Principal Engineer - Linux OS

Job Description : - He/she should be responsible for development and delivery of Linux OS and Networking side activities for the product. - He/she would be owner and a go-to person for any technical queries\information on the modules / core areas in the product. - He/she will have the passion to mark a difference and take the product and technology to the next level. - He/she will demonstrate excellent decision-making capabilities under complex technical and domain constraints. - He/she will work with cross functional teams to provide technical designs and solutions. - He/she will ensure high quality deliverables in a time critical projects. - He/she will work closely with the Products Managers and QA. Job Requirements : 7-10 years of experience in developing systems software, with the following skills : - Programming in C/C++ - Strong Linux knowledge - Strong Network Programming experience with TCP and UDP sockets in IPv4/IPv6 network. - Strong exposure to scripting language like Shell/Python - In depth understanding of Linux OS internals such as Process Management, Memory management, Disk and I/O management - Understanding of the Linux boot components and bootup process and boot process customization. - Basic understanding of Development of Device Drivers for various hardware components in Linux - Linux OS performance measurement and optimization - Service management in Linux. - Low level firmware development, Hardware Abstraction Layers, basics of motherboard architecture - Knowledge on PCI Devices and firmware, BIOS and UEFI boot handling. - Debugging in Linux with GDB. - Docker development experience is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
