SAP Techno-Functional Consultant - ABAP Module

Joining : Immediate Location : Pune Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both SAP functional processes and technical development (ABAP). This role is critical for delivering multiple SAP projects, with a primary focus on driving SAP analytics, understanding business requirements, and providing technical expertise. As an SAP Techno-Functional Consultant, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the overall SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities : 1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis : - Engage with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define functional requirements for SAP solutions. - Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and detailed functional design sessions. - Provide business process guidance and translate business needs into technical specifications. 2. SAP Module Expertise : - Act as a functional consultant in one or more of the following modules: SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, or any relevant SAP modules. - Analyze and configure SAP systems to meet client requirements and optimize performance. 3. Technical Development & Customization : - Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and implement custom solutions using ABAP programming and other SAP tools. - Develop, test, and deploy RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows). - Work on performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging of technical issues. 4. SAP Analytics & Reporting : - Provide expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP BOBJ for reporting, visualization, and data modeling. - Design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs that meet business needs. 5. Integration & Interfaces : - Manage integration points between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms. - Design and develop custom interfaces (APIs, IDocs, BAPIs) as needed for integration with external systems. 6. Project Management & Delivery : - Lead end-to-end SAP project implementations, including planning, execution, and delivery within agreed timelines. - Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing SAP systems, ensuring alignment with business processes. - Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams, acting as the liaison between functional and technical teams. 7. Documentation & Training : - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for functional specifications, technical designs, and system configurations. - Provide end-user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new SAP features and : Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Experience : - 5 years of experience as an SAP Techno-Functional Consultant, including hands-on experience in SAP configurations, ABAP development, and integration. - Strong experience in one or more SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, etc.). - Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BOBJ is highly preferred. Skills : - Strong ABAP programming skills, including enhancements, reports, BAPIs, IDOCs, and smart forms. - Good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into SAP solutions. - Knowledge of integration technologies and platforms, including APIs, OData, IDocs, and third-party system integration. - Experience with SAP data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimization. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Project management skills, including experience in leading SAP implementations. Preferred Qualifications : - Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is an advantage. - Certification in SAP modules or technologies is a plus. - Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
