What You'll Do At Pega : Develop : - Design, develop, and test high-quality reporting visualizations and repeating components (like Table, Gallery etc.) using JavaScript/TypeScript and React within an Agile environment . - Look outward to identify the latest data visualization trends and keep abreast of web and accessibility standards. - Showcase how to use the latest and greatest to deliver some easy-to-use visualization technology for the Pega platform and our different applications. Code Quality : - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and reusability. Component Architecture : - Use HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6), along with React, TypeScript to Develop reusable and modular repeating components following best practices. - Proficiently manage state using technologies like Redux and ensure smooth data flow and application state consistency. Who You Are : - You are a front-end web developer (5-7 years) passionate about the latest web technologies and 3rd party frameworks. - Front end, user experience, and data visualization excites you and you understand how to present data in an easy to use and compelling way. - You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, and cross-functional environment. - You deliver high-quality code with excellent code coverage using unit and integration tests. - You strive for simple, elegant solutions to complex problems. - You are eager to learn and always up for a challenge. What You've Accomplished : - 5 years of professional experience in UI Engineering in agile/scrum environments. Expertise in Frontend Technologies : - Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6). - In-depth understanding of React.js and its core principles, including React Hooks, state management, and component lifecycle. - Strong experience with TypeScript and its advanced features. Bonus points for : - Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java, C++, or C#; experience with writing test automation using tools such as JUnit, Jasmine, Puppeteer, Playwright. - Experience writing unit and integration tests using testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library. - Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a Scrum team, with strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset. - Innovative thinker with a passion for improving user experience and frontend development practices.
