Engineering Manager - PHP Development

Job Description : Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance on best practices and ensure high standards of code quality. - Technical Expertise : Leverage your advanced knowledge in PHP and Laravel to architect and implement complex web applications. Solve challenging technical problems and guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies. - MySQL Management : Utilize your advanced skills in MySQL to design and optimize database schemas, manage performance, and ensure data integrity and security. - Web Development Lifecycle : Oversee and manage the complete web development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. - Research & Development (R&D) : Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Lead R&D initiatives to explore new solutions, enhance existing systems, and drive innovation within the team. - Infrastructure & Cloud : Demonstrate a strong understanding of infrastructure and server management. Oversee deployment, scaling, and management of applications on cloud environments. - Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Requirements : - Experience: 10 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on PHP and Laravel. Proven track record in managing and leading development teams. Technical Skills : - Advanced proficiency in object oriented PHP programming and Laravel. - Sound knowledge and experience with Object-Oriented principles, REST APIs, and Web Applications development lifecycle. - Expertise in MySQL, including advanced query optimization and database design. - Proven experience with cloud platform (AWS) and infrastructure management. - Strong Knowledge of Micro-service Architecture.
