Job Position : SAP ABAP Technical Consultant (Mid-Level & Senior-Level) Work Location : Chennai Work Timing : 08 : 30 AM 05 : 30 PM (IST) Mode : F2F Educational Qualification : B.E / B.Tech / MCA / MSc (IT) with relevant experience 3-5 years of experience for Mid-Level and 6 years for Senior-Level Desired Skills and Experience : ABAP Experience : Mid-Level : 3-5 years Senior-Level : 6 years SAP Module Knowledge : Mid-Level : PP/PM/MM modules Senior-Level : SD/MM/SCM modules Technical Skills : - Strong ABAP workbench, Data Dictionary, Classical and Interactive Reports using ALV - Experience with SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, ADOBE Forms - Object-Oriented Programming, Database Design, knowledge of CDS, AMDP, ODATA, UI5 (advantageous) - Experience in Data Migration and Uploads using BDC and LSMW - Expertise in ABAP Debugging, Performance Tools, Runtime Analysis, and SQL Trace - Development experience in RFC (Remote Function Call), Reports, Batch Scheduling, OOPS, Network Hierarchy, ALV Tree SAP HANA Environment : - Exposure (Mid-Level) and Expertise (Senior-Level) in implementing various business applications on SAP HANA Multitasking & Communication : - Strong communication skills - Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables/projects System Analysis & Development : - Proficiency in system analysis, design, development, and implementation - Building technical design documentation, test scripts, and maintaining RICEFW matrices Team & Project Management : - Experience in managing teams (Senior-Level) - Supporting peer members, juniors, and trainees (Mid-Level) - Extensive project management and handling of transport requests via Solman (Solution Manager) Roles and Responsibilities : Technical Consulting & Application Support : - Act as a technical expert (Senior-Level) / consultant (Mid-Level) - Ensure quick identification and resolution of application issues - Provide operational support and work during change windows Development & Testing : - Transform business requirements into technical specifications - Develop, code, and document programs and execute unit tests, system integration, and acceptance tests - Perform performance tuning to improve efficiency across functions System Monitoring & SLA Compliance : - Monitor technical architecture for scalability, availability, and archiving to meet SLA requirements Client Ticket Handling, Documentation & Effort Estimation : - Manage tickets/issues and ensure timely resolution for client satisfaction - Prepare technical specifications, business understanding, and testing documents - Provide effort estimations for tasks and developments (ref:hirist.tech)
