Must-Haves

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine technology program required.

• Current certificate by ARRT (NM) or NMTCB.

Current certification by the State of NM in Nuclear Medicine.

• 1 year working in an acute care facility preferred

Job Description

• The Nuclear Medicine Tech administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.

• Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.

• Provides images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.

• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine technology program required.

Minimum Experience:

• 1 year working in an acute care facility preferred.

Licensure:

• Current certificate by ARRT (NM) or NMTCB. Current certification by the State of NM in Nuclear Medicine.

• If the registry is eligible must be completed and passed within one year of the hired date.
