Senior Engineer - Storage / Data Management

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join a world leading technology company at their technology centre in Munich.

As a Senior Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Define & implement comprehensive test methodologies, including strategies & test plans, for IT storage solutions.
• Manage & maintain IT infrastructure components, including storage, networking, & operating systems, with ongoing updates & setup enhancements.
• Conduct compatibility & certification testing for storage products to ensure reliability & performance.

As a Senior Engineer your skills will include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
• Extensive experience in the storage domain, particularly in designing scenario-based solutions & test cases
• Deep expertise in one or more areas of server, storage, or data center technology, with hands-on testing, project execution, or consulting experience. Familiarity with planning, integration, & operations is a plus
• Strong background in end-to-end IT infrastructure, including server, cloud, & storage architecture, with preferred experience in test frameworks & modeling techniques
• Strong communication & presentation skills, with an ability to effectively promote program expansion
• Fluency in English, along with proficiency in an additional language (German, French, Spanish, or Italian) is advantageous

Proficient in one or more of the following technical areas:

• Storage Types: Big Data solutions, Object Storage, File Systems, & Block
• Applications: Cloud environments, Containers, Network-Attached Storage (NAS), Virtualization, & Database
• Operating Systems: Experience in Windows, Linux, & VMware at the administrator level.
• Scripting/Programming: Shell or Python
