Software Developer

Job Description:

NAXCON GmbH is seeking a skilled Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our innovative team in Bremen. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions for defense applications. You will collaborate with senior developers to ensure high-quality technical execution and integration of software components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, test, and analyze software components in accordance with architectural specifications, while coordinating closely with senior software developers.
• Serve as a mentor and point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 developers, facilitating knowledge sharing and technical support.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software components and integration processes to ensure clarity and adherence to best practices.
• Assist in the integration of software subsystems into target systems, supporting overall system integration and functionality.
• Develop graphical user interfaces and implement user experience (UX) design specifications to enhance software usability.

Requirements:

• Completed computer science vocational training, such as FIAN
• Many years of expertise in the field of software development
• Good knowledge and experience with the programming language C++
• Proficiency in a different programming language than C++.
• Knowledge of the Qt framework is quite desirable.
• Strong written and verbal English and German proficiency (atleast B2 level)
• Willingness to travel worldwide

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD processes, Jenkins, Python, and Ansible, enhancing development and deployment capabilities.
• Familiarity with defense technologies and software solutions relevant to the sector.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.
• A proactive commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies and methodologies.
