Mialo - Senior Data Scientist - Time Series Analysis

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Develop and implement predictive models to support business strategies. - Conduct time series analysis and demand forecasting to enhance planning and inventory management. - Utilize optimization techniques, including linear and non-linear curve fitting, to improve business processes. - Analyze price elasticity to inform pricing strategies and revenue management. - Lead feature engineering, model development, and deployment efforts to ensure robust model performance. - Ensure scalability of machine learning systems to handle large datasets efficiently. - Implement price optimization strategies, dynamic pricing models, and promotion analytics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production environments. - Solve complex business problems by deploying models at scale and providing actionable insights. - Monitor and evaluate model performance, making adjustments as needed to improve accuracy and effectiveness. - A Senior MLE will also work on solving complex problems by deploying models at scale. Must-Have Skills : - Experience deploying models at scale using Python, PySpark, or other distributed computing environments - Proficiency in GCP, AI Vertex, Kubernetes, Docker containers - Experience with FastAPI/Flask for deploying models as services - Airflow for orchestration - Expertise in model governance, MLOps, MLFlow, and feature store concepts Preferred Qualifications : - Ph. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related quantitative analytic field - 3 years of experience performing predictive analytics at a large scale enterprise - Experience in SQL, PySpark, Hadoop, GCP technologies - Experience in ML Engineering framework, Feature engineering and Feature Store, MLOps, Model Management and Governance, setting up continuous learning frameworks (ref:hirist.tech)
