Java Developer - Backend Architecture

Job Description : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 5 years as a Web Engineer, with a total of 5-9 years in software development. - Strong expertise in Java programming, with a solid grasp of its syntax, object-oriented principles, and design patterns. - Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. - Develop and maintain web applications using a modular development approach. - Ensure that components are decoupled and reusable, allowing for scalability as the system grows. - Architect solutions that can handle increasing user load and complex system requirements. - Write code that is easy to read and troubleshoot by other developers. - Adhere to established coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality code that is maintainable and easy to debug. - Ensure the security and stability of web applications. - Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing, to ensure the application remains robust under production environments. - Strong experience with methodologies supporting modular codebases, such as MVC (Model-View-Controller), microservices, or component-based architecture. - Proficient with Git or other version control systems. - Experience in best practices for branching, merging, and maintaining a clean project history. - Ability to work effectively with remote team members in various time zones, especially ensuring overlapping working hours with teams based in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
