Role : ServiceNow Developer - Custom App Development Overall Experience : 6 Years out of which 3-4 Years Relevant Experience Location : Remote Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer - Custom App Development with a total of 6 years of experience, including 3 to 4 years specifically in developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for innovative solutions, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities : Custom Application Development : - Design, develop, and deploy custom applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements. - Customize existing ServiceNow applications to enhance functionality and user experience. Integration and Automation : - Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs. - Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency and streamline operations. Technical Leadership : - Provide technical guidance and best practices for ServiceNow development to junior developers and team members. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and quality assurance practices. Requirement Gathering and Analysis : - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Analyze business needs and propose effective solutions using the ServiceNow platform. Testing and Documentation : - Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality and functionality of custom applications. - Create and maintain documentation for developed applications, including user guides and technical specifications. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 7 years of overall experience, with 3 to 4 years of direct experience in ServiceNow custom application development. - Proficiency in ServiceNow platform features, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Reporting. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development tools (e.g., Studio, Flow Designer). - Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP) and database management.
